The Ahuja Family
Three lives of service.
It began in the burn wards of Lok Nayak Hospital, where a surgeon spent forty years giving survivors back their faces, their hands, and their working lives. It continued in the delivery rooms of Delhi, where his wife spent four decades bringing new lives safely into the world. It carries on in a studio at the same address, where their daughter tends the wounds no scalpel can reach.
Three disciplines, two generations, one house on Vikas Marg where healing is simply what the family does.

Where it began.
Before there was a surgeon in this house, there was a dermatologist. Dr. B. B. Ahuja, father of Dr. Rajeev Ahuja, was a renowned skin specialist of his time; his wife, Mrs. Kussum Ahuja, kept the home that raised a healer. The medicine in this family did not start with one generation, and it was never meant to end with one.
When Dr. Rajeev Ahuja founded the Burn Healing Foundation, its founding date was chosen as an act of gratitude to his late parents. The foundation that today restores burn survivors across more than twenty-four partner hospitals carries, in its very birthday, the memory of the doctor who came before.
